About Us. A growing Family of Christ Followers

In Grace Communion Carterville we are a growing family of Christ followers who are on mission to join Jesus Christ in His ministry to our communities and beyond.

We strongly desire to live by the GCI motto "Living and Sharing the Gospel" by providing a welcoming, family centric, love filled atmosphere that encourages those who are seeking a safe place to experience the amazing love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we grow together, we will continue to share our lives with any and everyone who seeks a deeper relationship with Almighty God.

Who We Are

Grace Communion International is a mosaic of churches knit together in grace. Our goal is Spirit-led, life-giving relationships by which mature followers of Jesus are multiplied around the world.

Youth Ministry

We believe that theology should be rooted in the Bible, especially the New Testament. The theology we believe is often referred to as Trinitarian Theology due to its emphasis on the relational nature of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Guests are always welcome at Grace Communion International, Joplin! There is no dress code, so come dressed as you feel comfortable. We offer coffee and refreshments before and after service and look forward to connecting with you.

Grace Communion International, Joplin worship services are usually about 90 minutes long. We begin with a call to worship and singing. We project the lyrics so that you can sing along and/or engage in worship, however you feel comfortable. We then enter a time of prayer, scripture reading, and the sharing of an inspiring message about the hope of Jesus by one of our pastors or elders.
